How To Apply
Registrants must be 18 years of age or older.
To be considered for the AEL Summer Residency Program, applicants must submit the following via email to jimjordan[at]artsempoweringlife[dot]org:
- Name, Address, Email Address, Date of Birth
- Video of Solo Performance on Your Major Instrument:
- Perform two contrasting works or movements (one technical, one lyrical).
- A video recording of your performance is required as part of the application.
- Orchestral Excerpts: (Optional)
- Include two or three standard excerpts in your video.
- Chamber Music Experience (Optional):
- You may include a video or written description of previous chamber music experience.
- Resume:
- Provide a resume detailing your musical education and experience.
- Letters of Recommendation:
- Submit two letters from teachers or professionals who can speak to your musical abilities.
- Personal Statement (Optional):
- Write a 300–500 word statement on your musical goals and reasons for applying.
Deadline for application: March 15, 2026
Videos will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so apply early, as space is limited!
Upon acceptance, you will be sent a link for registration.
Tuition: $1,950
$100 non-refundable application fee is due at the time of submission
Includes:
- Private instruction and coaching
- Ensemble coaching and performances by world-renowned faculty
- 7 nights/6 days of accommodations overlooking Cape Cod Bay, and all meals provided

Recording at Wingbeats Studio (Residency Recording Rate: $150/hour)
- Tourist excursions (available at an additional fee)
Financial assistance available for eligible students 24 years of age and younger

Admission Process:
Early Bird Discount offered if you apply by January 15, 2026 ($100 Application fee waived)
March 15, 2026: Deadline for Application
March 25, 2026: Admission Decisions will be released
April 8, 2026: Acceptance and $250 deposit due from attendees
May 1, 2026: Full payment due
