Invitation to the
Outer Cape Winds Wind Band Retreat

Dear Music Enthusiasts,

We are thrilled to invite you to an extraordinary musical experience on Cape Cod! Outer Cape Winds, in collaboration with the Woodland Park Wind Symphony, is hosting a “Wind Band Retreat” from July 8-12, 2025. This event will take place at Arts Empowering Life’s newly opened Performing Arts Center in Brewster.

This unique retreat offers a fantastic opportunity for members of both our ensembles, as well as talented musicians from the local community, to come together and create beautiful music. Here are some of the exciting activities and opportunities we have planned for you:

Combined Band Performances: Join fellow musicians in forming a combined band, creating a harmonious blend of talents and sounds.
Rehearsals: Participate in full and sectional rehearsals led by our distinguished principal guest conductor, Ray Cramer.
Sightseeing: Enjoy the picturesque beauty of Cape Cod with scheduled sightseeing excursions, including the following possibilities:
– A visit to the Cape Cod National Seashore for breathtaking coastal views.
– A tour of the historic Provincetown with its vibrant arts scene and charming streets.
– A trip to the scenic Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, perfect for nature lovers.
– A relaxing afternoon at one of Cape Cods beautiful beaches.
– A whale watch off the shores of Provincetown
– a day trip to the Islands of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket
– An evening of miniature golf and home made ice cream
Delicious Food: Savor fantastic meals throughout the retreat, featuring local Cape Cod cuisine and fresh seafood, ensuring you’re energized for all activities.
Final Concert Recording: Conclude the retreat with a final concert by the ensemble, professionally recorded to capture the magic of our time together.

Cost:
$1,200 for full room and board for the week.
$2,000 for couples – full room and board for the week.

For Cape Cod Participants:
$250 for music participation (no meals)
$500 full music participation and lunch and dinner every day

Early-bird 10% Discount Available! Deposit and Registration due by February 1, 2025 to receive discount.
A non-refundable deposit of $100 is due at registration.
