Join us for the Closing Concerts of the Arts Empowering Life Residency Program—the culmination of a week’s worth of work between master teachers and participants ready to launch into professional music careers. Friday’s Percussion Ensemble Spotlight concert will feature Varesè’s Ionisation, Burritt’s White Pines, and Takemitsu’s Rain Tree. Saturday’s Closing concert will feature works by John Psathas, Paul Hindemith, Henry Mancini, Stan Jones, and featuring Fast Forward, by world-famous composer Joseph Schwantner. Free Admission!
