Join Gabriel V to explore a vast array of brass colors and sounds from around the world. Their program journeys through a range of geographic regions and contrasting eras of music; the rise of polyphony in 1500s Italy, the Renaissance in Elizabethan England, Vienna in the 1800s, Paris, France, Soviet Russia, then on to the Westward expansion in the United States. Featuring works by Palestrina, Brahms, Böhme, and Lafosse, this concert will inspire, inform, and invigorate!
