The Miracle at Dorchester Heights, Independence, and American Values
Presented by Larkin Spivey
Performing Arts Center, Brewster
About the Lecture
In March of 1776, in the dead of night, Colonial soldiers dragged 43 cannons up to Dorchester Heights gaining superior power over Boston. The British were stunned, the weather was horrendous, and with no other choice, they departed the city by ship without firing a shot. There were no further battles fought in Massachusetts!
